Cursed monastery in Turkey (21 pic)
Monastery "Sumela" in Turkey was built at the entrance to the cave and it is literally hanging over an abyss. It is originally built in the 386th year by two Athenian priests - Barnabas and Sofronije. During its long history, the monastery was ruined several times and then rebuilt several times. It is located in the province of Trabzon in Turkey and it is really spectacular, especially in the morning, when the mist that rises from the valley seems to act fairly "haunted".
I hope you enjoyed.
